In 2018 we were fortunate to purchase a wheeled wooden Victorian bier from an antique dealer in Gloucestershire. When we got it home we discovered it was marked CML and from further research we believe it was originally made for Curtis and Mawer of Lincoln around 1880. It is in excellent working order and we now use it for most of our burials.

We encourage family members to help convey their loved one from the car park to the grave side. It’s a moving beautiful sight to see the coffin transported in a traditional way.
